10.5" Damascus Skinner Tanto Knife – Hardwood Handle

Heritage Forge brings you a 10.5 inch Damascus tanto skinner knife with a full tang and a blue hardwood handle. It is a broad, tough knife for skinning, camp work and heavy slicing, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a fine layered pattern that runs in close, straight lines across its face. It is wide from spine to edge, with a long straight edge and an angled tanto tip that puts plenty of steel behind the point. A finger notch is cut at the base of the edge, so you can choke up close for controlled cuts. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is layered hardwood in deep blue, with orange and dark layers showing along the edges where the grip is shaped. A blue and gray section sits at the front, set off by thin red spacer lines. The grip curves to follow the hand and sweeps up at the butt to stop it sliding back. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by four pins. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
