Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a bold swirling layered pattern that flows from the guard to the tip. Its gently sloping spine meets a curved belly at a strong, sharp point, giving you control for detail cuts and a long sweep for clean slicing and skinning. The full tang runs through the handle for strength and balance when you bear down on tough work. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Wood
The handle is shaped from rich brown wood with a figured grain that shifts from honey to dark brown along its length. Finger grooves help your hand settle in the same place every time, and a decorative mosaic pin, a brass colored pin and a lined lanyard hole add fine detail. A patterned guard with a curved finger quillon keeps your hand from sliding onto the blade, and a thin brass colored spacer sits where the guard meets the wood.
