Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that flows from the handle to the tip. It is broad and strong, with a gut hook cut into the spine near the tip for opening hide in one clean pull. The curved belly below it handles skinning work, and the point is fine enough for detail cuts. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Rosewood and Resin
The handle is rosewood with a warm, rich grain, broken up by a band of white resin with blue swirls and a thin pale spacer line. Finger grooves along the lower edge set your grip, and the butt rounds off to sit comfortably in the palm. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by four pins and a run of file work along the spine. Rosewood is a natural material and resin is cast by hand, so the color, grain and swirls will vary from knife to knife.
