Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that flows from the guard to the tip. The edge runs in a long curve and sweeps up to a raised point, which gives you a smooth, drawn out cut for skinning and slicing. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Pakkawood
The handle is pakkawood in two colors, with a bright red section at the front that shows a swirling, figured grain, and a dark green and black layered section at the butt. Light bands with thin dark lines sit at both ends of the red section. The round grip widens toward the end to fill the hand. A brass guard sits at the front to keep your fingers back from the edge, and a brass cap finishes the butt. Pakkawood is dense and stable, so it stands up well to wet and cold conditions. The color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
