10" Hardwood Handle Damascus Skinner Tanto Knife – Handmade Hunting Blade

Heritage Forge brings you a 10 inch Damascus tanto skinner knife with a full tang and a green hardwood handle. It is a broad, tough knife for skinning, camp work and heavy slicing, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a fine layered pattern that runs in close, straight lines across the flat and breaks into swirls along the bevels. It is wide from spine to edge, with a long straight edge and an angled tanto tip that puts plenty of steel behind the point. The crisp grind lines give the blade a clean, faceted look. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is layered hardwood in two sections, with brown and gray at the front and green and cream behind it, divided by thin red spacer lines. The green section swells in the middle and tapers to a pointed butt, a leaf shape that sits naturally in the palm. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by four pins. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
