This 11-inch custom hand forged Damascus steel chopper knife is a stunning blend of durability, craftsmanship, and performance. The blade is hand forged from 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels, creating 512 true Damascus layers in a striking pattern. Hours of forging result in a unique saw-blade effect at the microscopic level, allowing the edge to stay sharper for longer than standard blades. Expert heat treatment gives the blade a Rockwell hardness of 50–54 HRC along the edge and 42–45 HRC along the spine. At 4 mm thick, the blade features precision hand grinds on both sides, with the top side left with a false edge for added detail.
