Heritage Forge brings you a 12.5 inch Damascus hunting knife with a bold stepped blade, sawback teeth along the spine and a banded handle built around spotted cream bone. It is hand forged for chopping, field dressing and camp work, with a rugged, distinctive look, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a striking pattern of small rings that runs from the guard to the tip. Sawback teeth along the spine handle notching and rough cuts, and a stepped spine leads into a wide belly that swells toward the tip, giving you weight for chopping and plenty of edge for dressing game. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Bone
The handle centers on cream bone marked with burnt brown spots, so each piece looks a little different. Dark sections sit on either side of the bone, a warm brown ring sits behind the guard, and a patterned oval guard keeps your fingers back from the blade. The rounded shape fills the hand comfortably during heavy work.
