12" Damascus Steel Cleaver Knife with Hardwood Handle – Custom Handmade Hunting Blade

Heritage Forge brings you a 12 inch Damascus cleaver knife with a full tang and a green and brown hardwood handle. It is a wide, heavy cutting tool for the kitchen, the camp cook and the butcher block, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a layered pattern that forms loops and rings across its broad face. It is wide from spine to edge, with a straight spine and a long edge that gives you plenty of weight for chopping. A finger notch at the base of the edge lets you choke up for finer work. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is hardwood in three sections, with warm brown at the front and the butt and green layered hardwood in the middle, divided by thin red spacer lines. The grip flares toward the butt to keep your hand in place. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with pins through each section and a lanyard hole in the exposed steel at the end. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
