Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the guard toward the tip. A fuller groove is cut down the middle, which lightens the blade and gives it a strong, purposeful look. The edge runs straight before it sweeps into a curved belly near the front, and a curved notch sits just ahead of the guard. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Pakkawood
The handle is pakkawood in a bright green, with the grain showing through the color. Dark sections sit at the front and the butt, set off by thin brass spacer lines. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with a large brass pin in the middle of the grip and smaller brass pins through each section. A brass double guard sits at the front, with one arm curved forward, and a curved brass pommel hooks behind your hand. Pakkawood is dense and stable, so it stands up well to wet and cold conditions. The color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
