12" Handmade Damascus Fillet Knife – Wood Handle

Heritage Forge brings you a 12 inch Damascus fillet knife with a full tang and a curved wood handle. It is a slim, nimble knife for fish, game and kitchen work, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a tooled genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a flowing layered pattern that runs from the handle to the tip. It is long and narrow, tapering to a fine point, which lets you follow the bone closely and make clean, thin cuts. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Wood

The handle is brown wood with a warm grain, shaped in a long curve that swells in the palm and sweeps up at the butt. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by four brass pins, and a thin pale spacer line crosses the middle of the grip. The narrow neck at the front lets you choke up for fine work. Wood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
