The blade is oil-tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 58-60 HRC and sharpened to a precise 20-degree edge for excellent cutting performance.Our Damascus steel is 100% real—not acid etched for appearance. It’s forged by layering 1095 high carbon steel with 15N20 nickel steel and folding the billet multiple times to achieve 384 layers. The blade is then acid-bathed, where the nickel takes on a satin silver tone and the carbon steel reveals deep, dark layers—highlighting the intricate wave patterns unique to each knife.The knife features a full tang construction for maximum strength and balance. After forging, we hand-polish the handle and refine the cutting edge to perfection. Every knife is individually handmade—no CNC machining involved—ensuring that each piece is one-of-a-kind with its own artisanal character.
