Heritage Forge brings you a 12 inch Damascus hunting knife with an upswept blade and a rosewood and buffalo horn handle with a sub hilt. It is a distinctive knife for field, camp and display, hand forged and finished by hand.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold swirling layered pattern that covers it from the guard to the tip. The edge runs in a long curved belly and sweeps up to a raised point, which gives you a smooth cut for skinning and slicing. Two scalloped notches are cut into the base of the edge near the guard. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Rosewood and Buffalo Horn

The handle is rosewood with a rich, warm grain, shaped with a swell that fills the palm. A section of dark buffalo horn sits at the front, set between a patterned guard and a patterned sub hilt that hooks behind your first finger to lock your grip in place. A patterned cap finishes the butt. Rosewood and buffalo horn are natural materials, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
