Heritage Forge brings you a 12 inch Damascus hunting knife with a sawback clip point blade, an amber bone and black bull horn handle, and a brass guard. It is hand forged for field dressing, skinning and camp work, with a classic frontier look that stands out on display.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the guard to the tip. Notches along the spine near the guard form a sawback for scoring and notching wood, and the clip point gives you a fine tip for detail work while the long curved belly handles slicing and skinning. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Bone, Bull Horn and Brass
The handle centers on amber bone with a warm, natural grain, framed by sections of black bull horn at each end. A brass guard with gently curved ends keeps your fingers back from the blade, and a hooked pommel at the butt gives your hand a firm stop during heavy cuts.
