12" Twist Damascus Cleaver Knife with Wood Handle – Handmade Full Tang Hunting Blade

Heritage Forge brings you a 12 inch Damascus cleaver knife with a full tang and a two tone wood handle. It is a wide, heavy cutting tool for the kitchen, the camp cook and the butcher block, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a flowing layered pattern that runs in waves along its broad face. It is wide from spine to edge, with a long edge that gives you plenty of weight for chopping. A finger notch at the base of the edge lets you choke up for finer work, and a polished steel bolster sits where the blade meets the handle. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Wood

The handle is wood in two tones, with a dark brown section at the front and a light cream section behind it, divided by thin red spacer lines. The light wood shows its natural grain and knots. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with pins through the scales and the steel left exposed at the butt, where a lanyard hole is cut through it. Wood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
