Blade:
The blade is made from premium D2 steel with a robust 4 mm thickness, providing both strength and durability. Inspired by traditional methods, the blade is forged using 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steel layers (512 true layers), creating a beautiful Damascus pattern. This sharp fillet knife retains its edge for extended use. The micro serrated “saw blade” effect on the Damascus pattern allows clean and precise cuts while resisting dulling. It combines the best of a carbon steel fillet knife for edge retention and a stainless steel fillet knife for durability. The blade edge has a Rockwell hardness of 54 HRC for excellent cutting performance.
Handle:
The handle is crafted from Pakka wood with brass spacers and a handmade Damascus steel bolster. Ergonomically designed for comfort and control, it provides a secure grip for long filleting sessions. The handle is a hallmark of quality among our handmade fillet knives, offering both beauty and durability.
