Heritage Forge brings you a 13.5 inch Damascus tracker knife with a full tang, a heavy sawback blade and an engraved bone handle. It is hand forged as an all purpose outdoor tool for chopping, notching, carving and camp work, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern across its wide, flat face. A row of deep notches along the spine forms a sawback for scoring and notching wood, and a long center fuller runs down the middle of the blade. The straight edge ends in an angled tip for strong push cuts, and the angled hook near the handle gives you a spot for fine carving. Two small holes near the base can take a cord or lashing. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Bone
The handle is made of smooth bone scales, each engraved with a dark ornamental design of a blade surrounded by swirling scrollwork. Three finger grooves along the bottom help your hand stay in place for chopping and heavy cuts. Steel pins hold the scales firmly to the full tang, which you can see running between them along the edge of the handle, and a lined lanyard hole at the butt lets you add a cord.
