Heritage Forge brings you a 13 inch Damascus hunting knife with a full tang and a sculpted black resin handle. It is a dark, modern looking knife for field and camp work, hand forged and finished by hand.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a ringed layered pattern down the center and wavy layers flowing along both sides. It is broad and strong, narrowing in angled lines to a solid point, with a short row of notches cut into the blade near the bolster. A dark etch brings the layers out in sharp contrast. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Resin
The handle is black resin, sculpted with rows of scalloped grooves that give your hand a firm, textured hold in wet or cold conditions. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by brass pins and a lanyard hole at the butt. A patterned bolster sits at the front, shaped with a curve for your first finger. Resin is finished by hand, so the grooves will vary slightly from knife to knife.
