The blade is folded Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the guard to the tip. Small notches along the spine give your thumb a firm hold for controlled cuts, and the long edge sweeps up to a sharp point for slicing, skinning and detail work. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Hardwood
The handle is red hardwood with a rich, flowing grain, built in sections divided by brass rings and a dark center band. Pink and dark spacers sit at each end, a polished guard keeps your fingers back from the blade, and a polished butt cap finishes the end of the grip. The rounded shape fills the hand comfortably during long work in the field.
