Heritage Forge brings you a 13 inch Damascus hunting knife with a full tang and a bone and hardwood handle. It is a long, slim knife for field, camp and display, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a tooled genuine leather sheath.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a fine layered pattern that runs in close, flowing lines from the handle to the tip. It is long and slim, with an edge that sweeps up into a raised point for smooth, drawn out slicing cuts. A finger guard is built into the base of the blade to keep your hand back from the edge. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Bone and Hardwood
The handle is built in three sections, with green and black layered hardwood at the front, a red and blue hardwood band in the middle, and cream bone at the butt. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by four brass pins. The butt flares out to give your hand a stop at the back. Bone and hardwood are natural materials, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
