Blade: Damascus Steel The blade is hand forged from genuine Damascus steel with a recurve edge that swells toward the tip and rises to an upswept point, giving you weight for chopping and a long belly for slicing. A finger groove near the guard lets you choke up for close work, and a bold, wavy layered pattern runs across the whole face of the steel.
Handle: Wood and Hardwood The handle is shaped from dark brown wood with a rich grain, with a band of orange stacked hardwood rings in the middle of the grip. Thin brass spacers frame the sections, and a patterned guard with a finger hook protects your hand at the front.
