Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that repeats in rows along its full length, etched dark for strong contrast. The edge runs in a recurve, dipping in behind the belly and swelling out toward the front, and the spine drops in a clip to a sharp point. The spine keeps a rough forged texture that shows the hand work in the steel. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Pakkawood
The handle is pakkawood in a light brown tone with a clear layered grain, turned into a rounded grip with a thin brass spacer ring. At the front sits a solid brass S guard, with one arm curved forward and one curved back in the classic bowie style. Pakkawood is dense and stable, so it stands up well to wet and cold conditions. The color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
