16" Hardwood Handle Damascus Bowie Knife – Hand Forged Hunting Blade

Heritage Forge brings you a 16 inch Damascus sawback bowie knife with a full tang, a two tone hardwood handle and a brass guard. It is a big, serious knife for camp, collecting and display, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs the full length of the steel. It is long and broad, with a fuller groove down the middle that lightens the blade and a row of sawback teeth along the spine for rough camp cuts. The edge runs straight before it curves up to a strong point. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is hardwood in two tones, with a dark brown section at the front and a lighter, warmer section at the butt, divided by a thin brass spacer line. The grip is shaped with a gentle curve and a flared butt to keep your hand in place. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with pins through the scales. A curved brass double guard sits at the front to keep your hand set behind the blade. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
