The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold streaked layered pattern that sweeps from the bolster to the tip. A gut hook is cut into the spine near the tip, made for opening hide in one clean pull, and the wide belly below it handles skinning work. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Resin
The handle is resin in swirled green and amber tones that shift as the light moves across them. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by three pins. A polished steel bolster sits at the front, and the grip curves down at the butt to sit securely in the palm. Resin is cast and finished by hand, so the color and swirls will vary from knife to knife.
