7" Damascus Gut Hook Knife – Camel Bone & Rosewood Handle

Heritage Forge brings you a 7 inch Damascus gut hook knife with a full tang and a rosewood and bone handle. It is a compact field knife built for dressing game, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a tooled genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that flows from the handle to the tip. A gut hook is cut into the spine near the tip, made for opening hide in one clean pull, and the wide curved belly below it handles skinning work. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Rosewood and Bone

The handle is rosewood with a band of bone set in the middle of the grip. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by five pins and a lanyard hole in the exposed steel at the butt. The curved shape sits low in the palm for close control. Rosewood and bone are natural materials, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
