Heritage Forge brings you an 8.5 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a layered hardwood handle. It is a compact, sturdy knife for skinning and everyday field work, hand forged and finished by hand.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold swirling layered pattern, etched dark so the layers stand out in sharp contrast. It is short and wide, with a drop point and a deep curved belly that gives you a clean, controlled cut for skinning. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is layered hardwood in yellow and gray tones, shaped so the layers show as rings and bands across the grip. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by two pins. The grip swells in the palm and tapers to a pointed butt, where a lined lanyard hole is set. A curve at the front gives your first finger a place to sit. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
