8.5" EDC Handmade Damascus Skinner Bowie Knife – wood Handle & Leather Sheath

Heritage Forge brings you an 8.5 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a dark brown wood handle. It is a compact, sturdy knife for skinning and everyday field work, hand forged and finished by hand.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that runs in wavy bands across its face, etched dark for sharp contrast. It is wide from spine to edge, with a drop point and a curved belly that gives you a clean, controlled cut for skinning. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Wood

The handle is wood in a deep brown, with a mottled figure of warm orange flecks running through the grain. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by three large pins. A finger groove at the front sets your grip behind the blade, and the butt is cut at an angle, with a brass lined lanyard hole set into it. Wood is a natural material, so the color and figure will vary from knife to knife.
