Heritage Forge brings you an 8.5 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a rosewood and hardwood handle. It is a compact, well shaped knife for skinning and everyday field work, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a tooled genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a layered pattern that runs in wavy bands along the edge and closes into rings near the tip. It has a drop point and a long curved belly that gives you a clean, controlled cut for skinning and slicing. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Rosewood and Hardwood

The handle is made in two parts, with warm orange hardwood at the front and dark rosewood behind it, divided by a thin brass colored spacer line. A finger groove under the front section sets your grip behind the blade, and the rosewood grip tapers gently to a rounded butt. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by five pins. Rosewood and hardwood are natural materials, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
