Heritage Forge brings you an 8.5 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a two tone striped wood handle. It is a compact, sturdy knife for skinning and everyday field work, hand forged and finished by hand.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that runs in straight bands and breaks into swirls along the bevel, etched dark for sharp contrast. It is wide from spine to edge, with a drop point and a curved belly that gives you a clean, controlled cut for skinning. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Wood

The handle is wood with a strong striped grain, made in two tones, a light tan section at the front and a darker, warmer section behind it, divided by a thin black spacer line. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by two large pins. A finger groove at the front sets your grip behind the blade, and the butt is cut at an angle, with a brass lined lanyard hole set into it. Wood is a natural material, so the color and grain will vary from knife to knife.
