The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that repeats in rows across its face. It is wide at the handle, with a deep curved belly that sweeps to a fine point, which gives you a long, clean stroke for skinning. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Stag Horn and Wood
The handle is wood with a warm, straight grain, broken up by two bands of stag horn in cream and brown that are framed by thin notched spacers. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with a pin through each section and a polished edge showing along the back. A finger groove behind the blade sets your grip, and the butt curves down to sit securely in the palm. Stag horn and wood are natural materials, so the color, texture and grain will vary from knife to knife.
