Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold swirling layered pattern that covers it from the bolster to the tip. It is short and wide, with a drop point and a curved belly that gives you a clean, controlled cut for skinning. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Pakkawood
The handle is pakkawood in gray, cream and orange layers that show as bold bands across the grip. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by three pins. A polished steel bolster sits at the front, set off by a thin yellow spacer line. Pakkawood is dense and stable, so it stands up well to wet and cold conditions. The color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
