Heritage Forge brings you an 8 inch Damascus gut hook knife with a full tang and a handle of rich brown wood with a cream bone band. It is compact, hand forged and made for clean, efficient field dressing, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the handle to the tip. A gut hook is cut into the spine near the tip, letting you open game cleanly without cutting too deep, while the curved belly handles skinning and slicing. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Wood and Bone
The handle is brown wood with a streaked, flowing grain, divided in the middle by a smooth cream bone band. Steel pins hold the scales firmly to the full tang, which shows at the butt with a lanyard hole so you can add a cord for carry. Every piece of wood and bone is natural, so the grain on yours will be one of a kind.
