Heritage Forge brings you an 8 inch Damascus gut hook knife with a handle of blue pakkawood and rosewood, finished with brass fittings. It is hand forged for clean, efficient field dressing, compact enough to carry all day, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is folded Damascus steel with a bold swirling layered pattern that runs from the guard to the tip. A gut hook is cut into the spine near the tip, letting you open game cleanly without cutting too deep, and the curved belly handles skinning and slicing. Notches along the spine near the guard give your thumb a firm hold for controlled cuts. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Pakkawood and Rosewood

The handle pairs deep blue pakkawood at each end with a warm rosewood center section, divided by thin brass spacers. A brass finger guard keeps your hand back from the blade, and a brass butt cap finishes the end of the grip. The rounded shape fills the hand comfortably during long work in the field.
