Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a speckled tan wood handle. It is a broad, practical knife for skinning, camp and everyday field work, hand forged and finished by hand.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a bold layered pattern that runs in straight bands and breaks into swirls through the middle, etched dark for sharp contrast. It is wide from spine to edge, with a long straight edge for clean slicing and an angled tip that gives you a strong point for detail cuts. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Wood

The handle is wood in a warm tan, covered in fine dark flecks that give it a speckled, earthy look. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by two large pins. A finger groove at the front sets your grip behind the blade, and the grip swells to a rounded butt with a lined lanyard hole. Wood is a natural material, so the color and flecking will vary from knife to knife.
