9" Handmade Damascus Hunting Knife with Sheath

Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus hunting knife with a kukri style blade and a stag handle with brass fittings. It is a compact knife with a lot of character for field and camp work, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the guard to the tip. It has a kukri style shape, narrow near the guard and curving forward into a wide belly before it comes to a sharp point. That forward curve puts weight behind the edge for chopping and pulls cleanly through a slice. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Stag

The handle is stag in a cream tone with dark brown markings left from the natural surface. Black spacer bands with thin brass lines sit behind the guard, and red and black bands with more brass lines lead to a brass cap at the butt. The brass guard at the front has a curved finger guard that keeps your hand back from the edge. Stag is a natural material, so the color and markings will vary from knife to knife.
