9" Handmade Twist Damascus Steel Skinner Knife with Hardwood Handle

Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus skinner knife with a full tang and a red and gray hardwood handle. It is a broad, sturdy knife for skinning and camp work, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a fine layered pattern that runs in close lines across the flat and breaks into swirls along the bevels. It is broad and strong, with an angled spine that gives it a faceted look and a long edge that sweeps toward the tip for smooth skinning cuts. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Hardwood

The handle is layered hardwood in two sections, with red and gray at the front and gray and brown behind it, divided by thin spacer lines. A finger groove at the front sets your grip behind the blade, and the butt curls into a hook that stops your hand from sliding back. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by three pins. Hardwood is a natural material, so the color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
