Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus hunting knife with a clip point blade and a handle that combines natural stag horn with figured hardwood. It is hand forged for field dressing, skinning and camp work, with a classic, rustic look built around the natural texture of the stag.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a wavy layered pattern that runs from the guard to the tip. A clip point gives you a fine, controlled tip for detail work, while the curved belly handles clean skinning and slicing strokes. A few notches along the spine near the guard give your thumb a firm hold when you need extra control. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Stag Horn and Hardwood
The center of the handle is natural stag horn, with a rugged textured surface that gives a sure grip and a look no two pieces share. Figured hardwood sections sit on each side of the stag, set off by stacked spacers in orange, black and blue. A dark steel finger guard keeps your hand back from the blade, and a dark steel butt cap finishes the end of the handle.
