Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus skinner knife with a wide, curved blade and a full tang handle of red hardwood and bone. It is hand forged for skinning, field dressing and game processing, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.
Blade: Damascus Steel
The blade is folded Damascus steel with a layered pattern that runs from the handle to the tip. A wide body and a deep, curved belly that sweeps up to the point give you long, smooth strokes for skinning and controlled cuts for detail work. Each blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.
Handle: Hardwood and Bone
The handle is reddish brown hardwood with a warm grain at the front and rear, broken up by a pale bone center section with natural texture for contrast. The full tang runs through the whole handle for strength and balance, and steel pins hold the scales firmly in place. The butt is shaped to sit comfortably in the palm.
