9" Twist Damascus Steel Tanto Skinner Knife – Hard Wood Handle

Heritage Forge brings you a 9 inch Damascus tanto skinner knife with a full tang and a pakkawood handle. It is a broad, tough knife for skinning, camp and kitchen prep, hand forged and finished by hand, and it comes with a genuine leather sheath.

Blade: Damascus Steel

The blade is hand forged Damascus steel with a fine layered pattern that runs in close lines and swirls across its face. It is wide from spine to edge, with a long straight edge and an angled tanto tip that gives you a strong point for push cuts. The broad face also makes it handy for chopping and scooping. Every blade is forged by hand, so the pattern on yours will be one of a kind.

Handle: Pakkawood

The handle is pakkawood in black and orange layers, shaped with deep finger grooves that lock your hand in place. The full tang runs the whole length of the handle, with the scales fixed by three large pins, and thin layered spacer lines cross the grip. Pakkawood is dense and stable, so it stands up well to wet and cold conditions. The color and layering will vary from knife to knife.
