Hand Made Damascus Steel Blade Chef Kitchen Full Tang Knife. All our Damascus knives are 100% handmade and crafted without any CNC machining. Our Damascus steel is made from a mixture of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon. The metals are heated and folded repeatedly to create 384 layers, which are then acid-etched to reveal the beautiful, distinctive Damascus pattern. The acid burn turns the nickel satin color while the high carbon steel becomes blackish gray, exposing the intricate layers of steel. After forging, the handles are high-polished and the blade is sharpened, leaving the edge with a satin finish. Each knife is unique and may have small handmade variations, making it a functional piece of art for your kitchen.
