Blade Details
The 5 inch blade of this damascus steel hatchet features a 4.25 inch width, forged into 512 layers for a unique saw blade effect at the microscopic level. Heat treated to 50–54 HRC along the edge and 42–45 HRC along the spine, this damascus hatchet provides excellent edge retention and long lasting sharpness.
Handle Construction
