This custom handmade Damascus chef chopper knife is designed for durability, sharpness, and elegance. Each blade is forged by combining 1095HC high carbon steel with 15N20 nickel steel, folded again and again until it reaches 384 strong and beautiful layers. The Damascus pattern is revealed through acid etching, where the nickel takes on a satin finish and the high carbon steel turns a dark gray, creating the unique layered look that makes Damascus steel so sought after. If the blade is highly polished, it shines like regular steel, but after etching, the dramatic layered pattern becomes visible. Once the forging and etching are complete, each knife is polished by hand, and the edge is sharpened to razor perfection. The handle is also polished for comfort and balance, offering control during chopping, slicing, or heavy-duty kitchen tasks. With its full tang construction, this chef chopper is built for strength and long-term use. Unlike factory-made knives, every piece is 100% handmade, without CNC machining, ensuring true craftsmanship in every detail.
