HOW OUR DAMASCUS IS MADE:
Unlike mass-produced imitations, our Damascus is 100% real. We forge it from 1095 high carbon steel and 15N20 nickel carbon steel, folded multiple times to achieve an impressive 384 layers. The blade is then acid-treated — the nickel turns a rich satin silver, while the high carbon steel darkens to a deep blackish gray, revealing the signature wavy Damascus pattern.After forging, we high polish the handle and sharpen the blade to a razor edge. The polishing process removes the acid-burned finish from the handle area while preserving the striking layered look on the blade. Each edge is ground at a 20° angle for optimal cutting precision, and the steel is oil tempered to 58–60 HRC for durability.
