This stunning custom lot includes 2 handmade hammered Damascus steel chef knives, featuring overall blade lengths from 12.0" to 13.0". Each blade is oil tempered to a hardness of 58-60 HRC and sharpened at a precise 20-degree angle for exceptional cutting performance. Our Damascus steel is genuine, crafted by folding and forging a mixture of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon steels 384 times to create beautifully layered blades. The blades are acid-etched to reveal striking patterns, with the nickel layers showing a satin finish and the high carbon steel turning blackish gray. The blades undergo meticulous hand polishing, which removes excess acid from the handles and sharpens the blade edge to a satin finish. Every knife is 100% handmade without any CNC machining, making each piece truly unique with distinctive handmade characteristics.
