Our Damascus is 100% real, not just an acid etch. The process begins by heating and folding the metals to form the layers, then burning the blade in acid to reveal its unique pattern—nickel turns a satin color, and high-carbon areas become blackish gray. The result is a striking contrast that showcases the true Damascus beauty.
Once forged, each blade is sharpened to a razor edge, and the handles are polished to a smooth, glossy finish. The high polishing removes the acid-burned layer on the edge, leaving a satin surface that is as functional as it is elegant.
