Forged from a blend of 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 nickel carbon steel, the blade is folded over 256+ layers to create a unique pattern and ensure long-lasting sharpness. Oil tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 56–58 HRC, this cleaver delivers exceptional edge retention and cutting power. Each blade undergoes an acid etching process that highlights the beautiful Damascus layers, with the nickel turning a light stain color and the high-carbon steel revealing a deep blackish-gray finish. To maintain the integrity of your knife, always keep the blade clean and lightly treated with oil or wax after use. Avoid storing it in the leather sheath for extended periods, as leather can absorb moisture and cause rusting.
