Our Damascus steel is genuine, not just acid-etched. It is crafted from a blend of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon steel, folded repeatedly to create 384 layers. The blade is acid-treated to reveal the unique nickel satin and blackish-gray high carbon layers, producing the iconic Damascus pattern. After forging, the knives are high polished, giving a satin finish on the blade edge and a smooth handle. Each knife is 100% handmade with no CNC machining, ensuring unique characteristics in every piece.
