The blade is then acid-etched, revealing a stunning contrast between the satin nickel-colored layers and the blackish-gray high carbon steel, exposing the signature Damascus pattern. Unlike acid etching alone, our knives are polished to a satin finish on the blade edge, while the acid-treated layers on the sides highlight the intricate layering effect.
