This handmade Damascus steel axe is a stunning combination of strength, function, and craftsmanship. With an overall length of 15 inches, this axe is compact yet powerful, making it ideal for hunting, camping, chopping, and outdoor adventures. The 5-inch blade with a 6-inch cutting width is hand forged from 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels, folded over 512 layers to create the iconic flowing Damascus pattern. Each strike of the hammer during forging ensures durability, sharpness, and an edge that stays keen longer than standard steel.
The 14.5-inch handle is crafted from natural wood, providing a secure, ergonomic grip for comfort and precision during use. The axe also includes a handmade leather sheath, offering both protection and easy portability. With a Rockwell hardness of 50–54 along the cutting edge and 42–45 along the spine, this Damascus axe is designed to withstand tough outdoor use while retaining its edge.
