The knives come with eye-catching hardwood handles, polished for a smooth and comfortable grip.Our Damascus steel is authentically forged by heating and folding the metals repeatedly, not just acid-etched. The acid burn reveals the nickel layers as a satin silver and the high carbon layers as a rich black-gray, clearly exposing the blade’s unique layered pattern. Polishing the metal produces a shiny satin finish common to steel, but the true beauty of the Damascus pattern only appears after the acid burn process.
