Lot Of 7 Handmade Damascus Steel Blade Chef Set Knife

This custom lot of 7 handmade hammered Damascus steel blade chef knives showcases true craftsmanship and premium quality. Our Damascus steel is genuine, not just an acid etch. It is created from a blend of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon steels. These steels are heated together and folded repeatedly to achieve the desired 384-layer pattern. After forging, the blades are burned in acid, which turns the nickel layers a satin color while the high carbon layers turn a blackish gray, beautifully exposing the distinctive Damascus layers. The blades are acid etched to reveal these intricate layers. When highly polished, the metal appears shiny satin like all steels, but only after acid burning do the unique Damascus layers become visible. After the blades are crafted, the handles are high polished, and the edges are sharpened at 20 degrees. The acid-burned layer on the handle is buffed off, while the acid-burned blade edge becomes satin, creating a stunning finish. All our knives are 100% handmade, ensuring every piece is unique and crafted with care.
